Menu Options
Our clients choose the items off the menu prior to the event. We will then create a limited menu for your guests to view. Special event menus can be created upon request. These may include menus for a brunch, buffet, cocktail or theme party.
We can also make arrangements to provide sushi, sashimi, and hand rolls from our sister restaurant, Miso (http://www.misorestaurant.com).
First Course

At Foster’s we will assist you in planning your special event. Foster’s has a warm and inviting private room which can seat a minimum of 15 up to 45 guests and can also be used as an area for cocktail receptions for up to 60 guests. A room rental charge of $300 may apply. This room has a 47-inch plasma television with a built-in wall port for easy linking to portable computer systems for presentations. An additional charge of $250 may apply for use of this system. Our audio and visual system can be used to play a variety of music and can be linked up with most ipods, portable hard drives, CDs, DVDs, and other digital formats.
Our spacious bar and lounge can fit approximately 55 people for cocktails preceding your event. We offer three different styles of bar service for your event, listed as follows:
Open Bar
This allows your guests to order anything off the bar during the event. A tab will be added to the final bill.
Limited Open Bar
This includes beer, wine and soda only. A tab of these items will be added to the final bill. If any guests would enjoy something other than the listed items, they may purchase them separately.
Cash Bar
Cash bar allows your guests to purchase any beverage they would like throughout the event.

Terms and Conditions
Food and beverage
Foster’s will request your menu and event room requirements no later than two weeks in advance of event. The prices indicated on the menu sheets are correct at the time of printing. We reserve the right to confirm prices when you finalize your menu with our office.
Guaranteed number
An approximate number of guests expected to attend the function is to be given at the time of initial booking. Guaranteed attendance must be received no later than 3 business days prior to the scheduled function. The client will be charged for the actual number of guests or the guaranteed number, whichever is higher. If the guaranteed number of guests is not received within 3 business days, the client will be charged for the planned number of guests or the actual number of guests, whichever is higher.
Cancellation policy
Any banquet cancelled less than 2 weeks prior to the scheduled function date will be billed for the cancellation costs incurred by Foster’s, and the deposit will not be refunded.
Deposit
Foster’s requires a $500 deposit to secure your contractual hold on the function space. This fee will be deducted from your final bill.
Payment
Payment in full is due at the end of the function unless other arrangements have been made prior to the function. Direct billing of your account may be arranged with our accounting department.
Room charge
Foster’s reserves the right to charge for the use of its rooms. This $300 charge allows you exclusive set-up and use of the private areas.
Gratuity and tax
20% gratuity and 6% Connecticut sales tax will be added to your food and beverage service bill.
